Tym, first picked up a guitar at age 14. By the time he was 16, he was playing in various “pick-up bands” doing back yard parties and store openings.
He started playing in bars (underage) at the age of 19. Just a few years later, he was playing East Coast venues and cut his first record with his band “Tyrant”.

He became bored with those limitations and moved to Arizona, where he joined an Alice Cooper tribute band that played everywhere from Hollywood to El Paso, Salt Lake City to Tucson.

In the early to mid 2000’s, Tym formed his own band, “Nowhere Fast”. That’s about the time that he met Vince, who would come in and jam with them from time to time. For several years, Vince and Tym kidded around about being in a band together. So when Mojo Rats was looking for a new lead guitar player, Tym was the inevitable first choice.

The timing was right and today, Tym has found his niche playing with Mojo Rats!
